[Hiring] PF&C Schedule Lead @RTX

Role Description

The Ejection and Propulsion team is currently seeking a Lead Integrated Program Scheduler to join our team. Responsible for development, integration, analysis, documentation, and presentation of process plans and schedules for the duration of a contract. Generate strawman IMP/IMS models independently from Proposals, Statement of Work, and Contract Data Requirements (CDRL).

• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
• Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.
• Responsible for supporting scheduling activities of programs which are moderate to high risk and complexity.
• Strong understanding of earned value management practices, procedures, and Government guidelines.
• Develops management information from the IMS to include corrective action, critical path analysis, performance tracking, and reporting.
• Prepares, develops, and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet program objectives.
• Ensures major projects are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups.
• Tracks plans and schedules, solicits regular updates, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
• Utilizes schedule risk assessments, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques.
• Generates strawman IMP/IMS models working independently from Proposal documents.
• Verifies all WBS items are accounted for in the IMS.
• Works in parallel with the cost analyst of the program to ensure the cost and schedule are reconciled.
• Takes lead in developing training material for program specialists and testing of new tools.
• Applies company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure plans and schedules are in compliance.
• Scheduler should have knowledge of schedule risk assessment process (SRA).
• Experience with integrated schedules and logic networks using Microsoft Project software.
• Understands and complies with requirements in DI-MGMT-81861B/C, DCMA Schedule Assessment Guide, and Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide.
• Supports ongoing compliance reviews and/or periodic process audits.
• Assists, as needed, the Program Earned Value Analyst with regularly scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• Planning and Scheduling experience in a DoD, EVMS environment.
• Deep Understanding of Microsoft Project skills.

• Experience working in a competitive proposal environment.
• Experience on multiple programs with responsibility for development of and execution of the IMP/IMS.
• Experience assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks.
• Understanding of and experience using numerous ancillary scheduling products.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
