Role Description

Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them.
• Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business.
• Participates in the development of business strategy.
• Develops and manages business plans to achieve objectives.
• Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives.
• Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.
• Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches.
• May have segment-wide impact.
• Directs cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams.
• Documents future state using appropriate tools/processes (e.g., "to-be" process maps).
• Gathers information needed for the definition of requirements (e.g., business use cases, user stories).
• Facilitates all needed requirements-gathering activities (e.g., meetings, workshops, JAD sessions).
• Develops business context diagrams (e.g., business data flows, process flows) to analyze/confirm the definition of project requirements.
• Defines desired future state requirements based on input from all applicable stakeholders.
• Identifies the business impact of system/application changes, using appropriate tools as needed (e.g., impact analysis, FMEA, risk analysis).
• Identifies capability gaps between current state and desired state (e.g., system capacity, emerging technologies).
• Ensures adherence to enterprise standards for gathering and documenting project requirements (e.g., RSA, UDP, applicable templates).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience.

• Salary range: $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment.
