Role Description
This role involves supporting the Axos Clearing business by building out the new Axos Professional Workstation suite of products.
- Deliver solutions for complex business and technical problems
- Partner with product and business teams to identify and prioritize customer outcomes
- Drive design excellence by unifying and improving design patterns, standards, and methods
- Contribute to the adoption of enterprise design standards
- Lead and present in cross-org reviews using storytelling to influence and keep the team focused
- Ensure designs are feasible and data-driven
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, with complementary training in UX and design specialties is preferred
- 8+ years' of collective design experience (visual design, research, UX design, etc.)
- Available online portfolio
- Expert with design tools such as Figma, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience applying UX design processes
- Experience with UX design of complex workflows
- Experience with UX research (competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, user testing)
- Experience with investment brokerage software applications
- Experience delivering pixel-perfect designs as specifications to development
- Comfortable working within a mid-size design team (10-15 people)
Requirements
- Influence stakeholders across functions to gain support for design strategies
- Drive the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems
- Drive a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products
- Provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for product ideation and/or user research/testing
- Drive design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes
- Help craft and work writing corporate standards for process, execution, and deliverables
