Role Description

Aquent Studios is the creative agency delivering scalability and world-class execution to our leading Tech client's in-house studio. This strategic collaboration helps shape how one of the world's most innovative technology brands shows up globally in culture and across enterprise markets.

We have an urgent need for a Creative Director, Copy (Global Brand Voice) to join a small, high-caliber creative team embedded directly with the client. In this role, you will write and polish copy that seamlessly weaves together their foundational corporate brand with its sub-brands and product portfolios.

This is a project-based, short-term role with an estimated duration of 8 weeks.

What You'll Do

• Craft, refine, and edit copy across priority channels including integrated campaign headlines, web/digital, product storytelling, social, video scripts, and high-profile event content.
• Connect the client's parent brand narrative to its product brands, striking the precise balance between corporate consistency and product-level differentiation.
• Distill intricate B2B and consumer tech concepts into clear, compelling, and human language.
• Partner closely with the Managing Creative Director, art directors, designers, and product marketing stakeholders to turn briefs into final, polished copy on tight timelines.
• Identify gaps or edge cases in existing voice guidance, recommend pragmatic fixes, and compile clean handoff notes to support ongoing continuity at the contract's conclusion.
• Author copy tailored for international audiences, ensuring tone, metaphors, and phrasing translate cleanly across global markets and localization pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8+ years of agency, in-house, or studio copywriting experience, with a track record operating at the Associate Creative Director or Creative Director level.
• Demonstrated capacity to hit the ground running, digest brand architectures quickly, and deliver client-ready creative with minimal hand-holding.
• Advanced mastery of established brand style guides, tone systems, and messaging frameworks, paired with a sharp eye for editorial consistency.
• A proven showcase of versatile work spanning high-level brand storytelling, crisp headline craft, and product-level marketing across digital and campaign channels.
• Elite writing and editing skills with the instinct to know when to push creative boundaries and when to lead with simple, direct clarity.
• Comfort navigating fast-paced review cycles, receiving direct feedback, and collaborating in a high-tempo enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background writing for semiconductor, AI, enterprise hardware, mobile, or consumer electronics brands.
• Experience crafting copy within multi-tiered enterprise or B2B brand architectures.
• Prior experience writing with international audiences, global campaigns, or localization workflows in mind.

Requirements

• Compensation Range: $85 -95/hr DOE
• The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
