Role Description

The Sales & Business Development Rep is a key position, with the primary goal of acquiring new business and growing an existing portfolio of SLED accounts in a professional setting.

• Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed sales objectives in acquiring new clients.
• Work with a team of RFP writers to ensure they have the right pitch and engagement tools to bring good clients to your desk.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers at SLED agencies for all staffing needs and partner with them on filling their needs exclusively.
• Perform prospect visits to facilities to educate and inform on our staffing services and drive exclusive and set-aside business for the company.
• Attend community networking events to create additional business relationships.
• Keep abreast of trends in the industry and identify new opportunities for the growth of your portfolio.
• Work with the department heads, stakeholders, decision-makers, procurement or scheduling teams at each facility to identify their critical needs.
• Managing client relationships to generate referrals as well as grow current accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Sales and Business Development experience especially in acquiring new business for an IT staffing or services organization (SLED Experience is a plus).
