Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying customer issues.
• Proven track record in building effective relationships with customers and internal associates.
• Strong negotiating skills to create win-win outcomes for the company and customer.
• Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals with minimum direction and supervision.
• Demonstrated solid forecasting skills and the ability to research data from all internal reporting sights.
• 5+ years experience in a Club or Retail CPG sales environment preferred.
• Experience in Ice Cream category preferred.
• College or Undergraduate degree preferred.

Requirements

• Sell, negotiate, and execute business plans.
• Leverage business intelligence data to create a selling story.
• Manage internal and external cross-functional departments.
• Communicate with the retailer to collaborate and execute promotions.
• Create new item presentations with data-specific information.
• Create and consistently modify sales forecasts in each category.
• Negotiate monthly promotions with customers.
• Understand customer contracts and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage trade spend to maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to create promotional synergies.
• Analyze promotion effectiveness through IRI and other data reports.
• Monitor competitive landscape to ensure exclusivity.
• Maintain all necessary reporting, promotion calendars, and forecast volume.
• Execute all Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream (DGIC) priorities.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices.
• Become a quality agent by continuously checking products in various stores.
• Frequent customer interaction to implement the annual plan.
• Identify gaps between customer plan and feedback and propose resolutions.
• Ensure achievement of agreed Customer(s) targets/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Benefits

• Pay range for prospective employees in this role is between $90,000 and $110,000 per year.
