[Hiring] Account Manager @Intralox

Role Description

We are seeking a results-oriented Account Manager to grow our business across the Fruit, Vegetable and broader Food segment, including dairy, ready meals, pet food, confectionery and chocolate. You will work closely with food manufacturers, OEMs and system integrators across New Zealand and Australia to identify opportunities and deliver value-driven solutions. This is a highly autonomous, home-based role where you will own your territory strategy, customer relationships, and business outcomes.

The role is home-based, preferable in Auckland, will consider Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with key food industry customers across New Zealand and selected ANZ accounts.
• Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities into sustainable revenue growth.
• Visit customer manufacturing sites to understand operational challenges and recommend tailored Intralox solutions.
• Build relationships from shop floor teams through to executive decision-makers across technical, operational, food safety and commercial functions.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional and global priorities.
• Collaborate with application engineers, technical specialists and global teams to deliver high-value customer outcomes.
• Maintain responsibility for revenue objectives, account development milestones and long-term customer success.
• Embrace team-based selling while demonstrating strong self-management and accountability.
• Continuously analyse accounts, market trends and competitive activity to strengthen Intralox’s value proposition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within food processing, manufacturing, automation or industrial technologies.
• Proven success managing complex, solution-based sales cycles and strategic customer relationships.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand manufacturing processes and production challenges.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build credibility and influence at all organizational levels, from plant personnel to senior leadership.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout New Zealand and periodically within Australia (approximately 75% - 80%).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline preferred. Mechanical engineering background advantageous.
