Role Description

The Team Lead - SDR will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, the Sales Development Manager is responsible for ensuring continued pipeline growth by working with Sales Development Representatives on new accounts and developing relationships for sales evaluation.

  • Manage team of Sales Development Representatives and hit monthly/quarterly pipeline goals.
  • Maintain positive relationships with Account Executives.
  • Hold weekly team meetings explaining business needs/updates.
  • Hold 1:1 meetings with reps to discuss positives/negatives of their performance in order to improve sales skills.
  • Work with the Marketing team to help streamline/improve sales processes.
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research.

Qualifications

  • Advanced or fluent in English Language (Writing, reading & speaking).
  • Prior experience managing a customer-facing team.
  • Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance, with high level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Solid experience in business development and opportunity qualification (often involving multiple key decision makers), call control, account development, and time management.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques and have problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Must use exceptional listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, highly organized, able to work independently and adaptable to a diverse and demanding environment.
  • Experience adhering to KPI metrics aligned with successful outcomes.
  • Must be efficient in Salesforce.com.
  • Must be able to leverage social selling skills.
