Role Description
This role involves managing sales in a designated area, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with customers while promoting innovative roofing solutions.
- Full autonomy to sell solutions and add value under the trusted Marley brand
- Nurture existing relationships while developing new business opportunities
- Proactively identify, influence, and deliver a strong pipeline of projects with specifiers and contractors
- Negotiate, develop, and implement specific business plans to achieve regional sales targets
- Promote early pre-tender engagement and prepare project-related value propositions
- Attend regular meetings across the region and prepare forecasts to support planning
Qualifications
- Commercial thinker with a flair for sales
- Passion for customers, ensuring they are at the heart of all activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to achieve targets through planning, analysis, strategic implementation, and commercial acumen
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to support, influence, and enthuse
- Energy and ambition to progress and a passion for learning
- Experience in external sales
- Exposure to Specification or Technical Sales is a bonus
- Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for developing presentations
Requirements
- Must live on patch and have a UK driving license
- Willingness to travel within the patch covering: BR CR DA GU KT RG SE SL SM SW TW W
- Own a car (Car allowance and expenses are part of the package)
