Role Description
This role involves leading the New Build Housing division at Marshalls Bricks and Masonry, focusing on either National Housebuilders or Regional Housebuilders.
- Shape and execute a bold commercial strategy that drives major projects and uncovers new business ventures.
- Build and lead high-performing teams in New Business Development and Major Projects.
- Identify and pursue opportunities in the commercial, infrastructure, and new build housing sectors.
- Ensure the successful execution of major projects on time and within budget.
- Nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Supercharge commercial performance through savvy pricing strategies and cost management initiatives.
- Partner with sales leaders to align demand creation with business objectives.
- Champion creativity within teams to develop groundbreaking products and solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in sales and commercial roles, preferably within the construction or related industries.
- A successful track record of driving growth.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing large-scale projects and budgets.
- Passion for innovation and a customer-focused approach.
- Deep understanding of the housebuilding sector would be ideal.
