Role Description

This role involves providing engineering and design solutions within the specialist area of Pavement Engineering.

Work closely with the external sales teams to provide technical design advice.
Engage with a wide range of customers and internal stakeholders.
Deliver information confidently to landscape architects, consultant engineers, main contractor design teams, local authorities, and housing developers.
Balance technical knowledge with engaging communication to add value to projects and secure sales.
Create technical proposals and deliver engineering-focused CPD presentations.
Support the resolution of on-site issues.
Contribute to the development of new products, systems, and design methodology.
Develop a network of contacts within the engineering community.

Qualifications

Civil Engineering related degree or working towards a relevant professional qualification.
Good understanding of construction standards such as DMRB, specification for highway works, BS 7533 Design Standards, and SuDS design manuals.

Requirements

Experience in a Technical Sales role, ideally in a similar industry.
A proven interest in engineering and design with a natural curiosity.
A love of building long and lasting relationships with people at all levels.
The ability to manage your own time and priorities efficiently and proactively.
A willingness to develop and grow your skills.
A full driving license and the ability to travel throughout the South of England.
