Role Description

Join Aspen Medical’s Digital Health team and play a meaningful role in improving access to high-quality healthcare for communities nationwide.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred episodic care through video and telephone consultations.
• Provide timely, evidence-based medical advice and treatment recommendations.
• Create concise, actionable care summaries and facilitate referrals to appropriate local healthcare services.
• Utilise digital health technologies, including My Health Record, electronic prescribing, and secure messaging platforms.
• Support continuity of care through accurate clinical documentation and communication with patients' regular GPs where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Specialist General Practitioner (FRACGP or FACRRM).
• Minimum of one year full-time equivalent experience practising as a Specialist GP in Australia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of English proficiency.

Requirements

• Previous telehealth experience is highly regarded.
• Strong digital literacy and confidence using telehealth platforms and clinical management systems.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and throughout the December holiday period, including rostered public holidays will be highly regarded.
