Role Description

We’re seeking experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to apply their prehospital care expertise to the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI systems. You’ll develop realistic emergency medical scenarios and assess AI-generated responses for:

• Patient assessment
• BLS protocols
• Clinical decision-making
• Scene safety
• Appropriate handoff procedures

This is expert-level evaluation work for experienced EMS professionals—not routine data annotation.

Qualifications

• NREMT certification with an active state EMT license.
• At least 2 years of field experience with a 911 or interfacility EMS service.
• Strong knowledge of patient assessment, BLS protocols, and scene management.
• Ability to clearly document clinical assessments, treatment decisions, and handoff reasoning in written English.
• Availability to contribute at least 10 hours per week.

Requirements

• Experience working in a high-call-volume urban EMS system (preferred).
• Field Training Officer (FTO) experience (preferred).
• EMS continuing education or instructor experience (preferred).
• AEMT certification (preferred).
• Current enrollment in paramedic education (preferred).

• Compensation: $40–$65/hour
• Annualized equivalent: $83,200–$135,200 based on 40 hours/week × 52 weeks
• Work mode: Fully remote and asynchronous
• Engagement: Independent contractor
• Availability: Minimum 10 hours/week; no maximum stated
• Payment: Weekly via Stripe
