[Hiring] Growth Marketer, SEO/AEO and Experimentation @Cresta

Role Description

Your job is to make sure Cresta shows up in answers from AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, turning that visibility into pipeline.

You'll join Cresta's Growth Marketing team, reporting to Devan Tremblay, Head of SEO. You will own day-to-day execution of Cresta's Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and SEO program.

What you'll do

• Grow Cresta's visibility, citation share, and narrative accuracy across AI platforms.
• Own AirOps workflows for content briefs, refreshes, and optimization.
• Run the content refresh pipeline: diagnose issues and partner with the Content Marketing Manager.
• Restructure high-impression pages for AI answers.
• Lead technical SEO across various aspects including crawlability and site architecture.
• Build an off-site presence program across review platforms and communities.
• Ensure every product launch gets organic coverage from day one.
• Turn questions from various sources into a prioritized answer backlog.
• Design, launch, and read out experiments on emerging acquisition channels.
• Own measurement across non-branded visibility and influenced pipeline.
• Build dashboards to monitor ranking drops and technical regressions.
• Stay ahead of changes in search and AI discovery.

What success looks like

• First 90 days: Own the content refresh pipeline and AirOps workflows, and run a recurring AI visibility report.
• First 6 months: Run the AEO testing roadmap independently and launch at least two growth experiments.
• First 12 months: Be the go-to person for how Cresta shows up in AI answers.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SEO, growth marketing, or organic growth roles.
• A track record of growing organic traffic and pipeline or signups.
• Hands-on experience with AEO or GEO.
• Technical SEO fluency and comfort shipping changes yourself.
• Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and GA4.
• Experience defining metrics and building dashboards.
• Clear, precise writing skills.
• A high bar for quality and full ownership from idea through implementation.

Preferred qualifications

• In-house SEO or growth experience at a B2B SaaS company.
• Experience with AirOps or building content workflows with LLMs.
• Experience with Webflow, HubSpot, or multi-touch attribution.
• Experience with crawl and log analysis tools.
• SQL or Python skills for data analysis.
• Experience running conversion rate or community channel experiments.
• Exposure to customer experience or contact center operations.

Compensation at Cresta

Cresta’s approach to compensation is simple: recognize impact, reward excellence, and invest in our people. Compensation for this position includes a Base Salary + Equity.

• Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $165,000.
• Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors.
