Role Description

We are hiring a Recruiter to own our Egypt talent pipeline end to end. Most of the people who speak to a Community Phone customer are hired here, and this role decides who reaches them. You will source candidates, screen them, move them through every stage, and keep each applicant informed from first message to first day.

You will hire customer support agents in cohorts, fill specialist roles across collections, retention, porting, and Tier 2, and support hiring for other departments such as sales and operations as we grow. An advanced command of the English language is required. You are the first voice candidates hear, and you are the person judging whether their English is strong enough for an American customer on a bad phone line.

This role reports to the Customer Support Manager and works closely with our team leads and Head of Operations.

You will...

• Own the applicant pipeline.
• Manage every requisition in Rippling ATS: review incoming applications, filter against the bar for each role, move candidates through stages, and keep the pipeline clean and current so hiring managers always see the real picture.
• Source actively.
• Build pipeline rather than waiting for it. Use LinkedIn Recruiter and Sales Navigator, local job boards, community and Facebook groups, BPO networks, and referrals to reach experienced support talent who are not browsing job boards.
• Run first-round screens.
• Conduct screening calls, assess English fluency, clarity, and phone presence, and evaluate the soft skills that predict success with elderly American customers: patience, composure, and warmth under pressure.
• Handle candidate communications.
• Respond quickly, set expectations honestly, schedule interviews, chase feedback, and make sure no candidate is ever left without an answer. Treat every applicant as a potential customer and referral source.
• Partner with hiring managers.
• Work with team leads to define what good looks like for each role, calibrate on scorecards, coordinate interview loops, and shorten the time between a strong candidate and an offer.
• Coordinate the onboarding handoff.
• Manage offers and contracts, confirm equipment and internet readiness, and line new hires up cleanly against training cohort start dates so nobody arrives on day one unprepared.
• Report on hiring.
• Track and share time-to-fill, source quality, screen-to-hire conversion, offer acceptance, and 30- and 90-day retention by source, and use those numbers to decide where to spend sourcing effort next.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of recruiting experience, including high-volume or cohort-based hiring.
• Direct experience sourcing and hiring for customer support or contact center roles.
• Hands-on experience working in customer support yourself, as an agent, team lead, QA, or workforce role.
• Advanced verbal and written English; able to assess another person's English accurately.
• Practical experience running an ATS day-to-day (Rippling preferred; comparable systems fine).
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Sales Navigator for outbound sourcing.
• Strong organization and follow-through: comfortable holding 50+ active candidates across multiple roles without losing track of any of them.
• Comfort working with hiring data and reporting on your own funnel.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional workspace for calls.

Nice to Have

• Experience hiring Egyptian talent for US-facing remote roles.
• Familiarity with local sourcing channels such as WUZZUF, Facebook hiring groups, and BPO alumni networks.
• Background in a BPO or outsourcing environment.
• Experience recruiting outside of support, sales, operations, or team lead roles.

Benefits

• $5 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Fully remote within Egypt.
• Hours aligned with US business hours, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
