Role Description

This role owns full-cycle fellowship recruiting for an educational institute based in the US, including:

• Candidate-facing interviewing
• Onboarding operations
• Contract management
• HubSpot pipeline ownership

This role is being stood up as part of a restructure of the fellowship recruitment function; the Fellowship Recruiter will receive onboarding support and a structured handoff during the first 30 days.

This is not a marketing or list-building role; it is a judgment-based, candidate-facing recruiting role with direct stakeholder relationships across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial candidate interviews for fellowship roles (Student Program Director conducts second interviews and holds final hiring decision authority).
• Own the fellowship recruiting process from candidate inquiry through hire and onboarding.
• Conduct first-round interviews and determine which candidates advance to the Student Program Director for final interviews and hiring decisions.
• Manage candidate communication and follow-up, including inbound inquiries, missed interviews, onboarding requirements, and contract deadlines.
• Own HubSpot recruiting pipelines and candidate lifecycle management, ensuring workflows, automations, and ATS records remain accurate and compliant.
• Manage onboarding operations, including paperwork, background checks, onboarding meetings, and SignNow contracts.
• Coordinate fellowship recruiting campaigns with Marketing and the Recruiting Support Specialist, including job postings, Handshake campaigns, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Recruit and onboard one-off interns for the Chapter Success Team as needed.
• Partner closely with the Student Program Director and RevOps to manage pipeline activity, second interviews, candidate advancement, and hiring handoffs.
• Provide weekly recruiting updates and reporting to leadership, including funnel metrics, pipeline progress, and emerging trends or concerns.
• Conduct fellow/intern exit interviews and share key themes and insights with leadership.

Qualifications

• Prior recruiting/talent acquisition experience, ideally in high-volume or campus recruiting environments.
• Experience with an ATS/CRM - HubSpot strongly preferred.
• Independent judgment on candidate quality - this role has significant discretion on who advances to the Student Program Director's second-round interview.
• Strong candidate-facing communication skills; comfortable owning difficult conversations (exit interviews, missed deadlines).
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships independently.
• Detail-oriented with contracts, compliance, and follow-up processes.
