[Hiring] Creative Director @Community Phone

Role Description

You will set our creative direction as we scale from <10% of American seniors and their families knowing about us to >50% in 2027. That’s millions of impressions. Super-bowl-commercial scale.

• Decide how Community Phone looks everywhere it shows up: TV, paid social, web, direct mail, the box, and our social channels.
• Ensure all platforms meet our brand standards.
• Take the brand identity system our design agency is launching in mid-October and make it world-class.
• Design the website, the box, and the pieces that define us.
• Build the creative machine for paid social and guarantee the quality of its output.
• Own creative performance alongside growth.
• Build the team that scales the brand with you.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in creative direction with a phenomenal consumer brand.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative work across digital, retail, social, packaging, experiential, film, photography, and product storytelling.
• Both agency and in-house experience.
• Experience in art direction, design, motion, and leading copy and concept.
• Passionate about making the work and designing.
• Belief in the power of AI in creative work.
• Experience creating work that performs at scale across TV, paid social, and physical.
• Experience managing production budgets, agencies, freelancers, and complex creative programs.
• Excellent taste.
• High humility, intelligence, and hunger.
• Judgment to operate as the entire creative function today.

Requirements

• Designed packaging and unboxing for a consumer hardware or DTC product (nice to have).
• Worked on eldercare, health-adjacent, or other trust-sensitive consumer brands (nice to have).

How we work

We're a fast-growing, YC-backed company built on curiosity, a bias toward action, and a founder mindset. We'd rather ship something small and learn than debate it for a month. You'll report directly to our Cofounder who runs Revenue and Operations, and you'll have a very direct line from your work to customers who will tell you, often within the same day, whether you got it right.
