[Hiring] Business Development Manager @CitySprint

Role Description

We're looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify and secure new, industry-specific business opportunities with an annual spend of £150k+. You'll play a key role in driving growth by building strong customer relationships, developing market strategies, and securing high-value logistics partnerships. This is a strategic, commercially focused role, working closely with internal teams to deliver sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience winning and developing high-value B2B/SME business (£150k+ accounts)
• Strong negotiation and closing skills within logistics or service-led environments
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term growth plans
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially astute with strong understanding of financial and margin impact
• Confident presenter, able to engage senior leaders and boards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated success delivering revenue and margin growth aligned to strategy

Requirements

• All successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
• This is a field-based role covering a defined geographical territory and requires regular travel to customer sites.
• The role includes a car allowance and therefore applicants must hold a valid driving licence.

Benefits

• Salary: £36,549 - £56,079 (depending on experience) + commission + car allowance
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Contract: Permanent
