[Hiring] Senior Business Development Manager @RELX

Role Description

As Senior Business Development Manager - Claims, you will play a key role in expanding LexisNexis Risk Solutions' footprint within the UK Personal Lines Insurance Claims market, combining deep Claims expertise with commercial leadership, new business development, and strategic influence.

• Act as a trusted advisor internally and externally, working with insurers and the Account Management organization to identify opportunities.
• Shape consultative sales engagements and progress new business.
• Bring a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Claims process to support the continued development of our Claims proposition.
• Provide leadership to a growing Claims sales team.
• Ensure the commercial perspective is represented in strategic discussions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within Personal Lines Insurance Claims, ideally within Motor Claims; Home Claims experience is also desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end Claims process, from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) through to resolution.
• Strong commercial acumen and a revenue-driven mindset.
• Previous people leadership or management experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work strategically and cross-functionally.
• Strong knowledge of the UK Claims market with an established industry network.
• Ability and willingness to travel 30-50% of the time, including overnight stays.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the Claims area of Personal Lines Insurance is essential.
• Strong background in one or more of the following: Claims Management, Claims Handling or Processing, Claims Investigation.
• Experience must relate to Personal Lines Insurance, such as Motor or Home.
