Role Description

This is a field-based account management role with real commercial teeth. You will inherit a portfolio of 150+ SMB clients across Brisbane QLD and your job is to grow it, retain it and deliver genuine results through tailored digital marketing solutions.

You will be out visiting clients face-to-face every day, presenting SEO, AEO, SEM and social solutions that solve real problems for real businesses. You will spot upsell opportunities, close them naturally and build the kind of trusted relationships that mean clients do not go anywhere.

Digital marketing is not a bonus here. It is the job. You need to know SEO, AEO, SEM and social well enough to have a genuine, credible conversation with a business owner about what is working and what is not.

The targets are real and attainable. Your first three months come with a guaranteed 50% OTE so you can build relationships and momentum without financial pressure. Hit your targets and you take home $135.2K. Top performers earn up to 5 x $42K in OTE in a single calendar year.

Qualifications

• Hands-on digital marketing sales experience, SEO, AEO, SEM and social, is your toolkit, not just your talking points.
• You can walk into a client meeting and have a genuine, informed conversation about their digital marketing performance.
• You have managed a client portfolio before and grown it, not just maintained it.
• Your clients look forward to your visits because you consistently bring value.
• You spot upsell opportunities before the client knows they need it and you close them naturally.
• You are organised and disciplined, managing 150+ relationships without dropping a single one.
• You bring energy and expertise to every visit regardless of what the day has thrown at you.

Requirements

• Managing and growing a portfolio of 150+ SMB clients across Hervey Bay/Bundaberg QLD through regular face-to-face visits.
• Presenting tailored SEO, AEO, SEM and social solutions that deliver measurable outcomes for business owners.
• Identifying and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your existing portfolio.
• Hitting monthly sales and retention targets with consistency and discipline.
• Building long-term client relationships based on genuine digital marketing expertise and reliable follow-through.
• Managing your own pipeline, schedule and portfolio with full accountability.
• Keeping accurate client records and reporting results to your Account Director.
• Staying sharp on Thryv product updates, the digital marketing landscape and what is moving in the SMB market.
