[Hiring] Grants Program Manager @Launch Legends

Role Description

We’re offering a unique opportunity to join Launch Legends (and Autheo) as a part-time Equity Cofounder. Founded in July 2021, Launch Legends is at the forefront of bridging Web3 blockchain technology with the next evolution of Web2 integration—bringing businesses on-chain through enterprise-grade solutions, DePIN innovations, and decentralized financial infrastructure.

As the Grants Program Manager, you will own the Autheo Foundation grant program from intake to project close. You will be the primary contact for applicants, the operator behind review, and the person who can say what was awarded, why, and whether the milestone shipped.

Key Responsibilities

• Run the full path of the grant lifecycle: application intake, eligibility screening, coordination of technical review, Grant Committee approval, award notification, agreement execution, milestone tracking, and project close.
• Be the point of contact for applicants and grantees: answer questions, give written feedback, and guide teams through review.
• Coordinate the Grant Committee, Foundation Board, and legal on agreement execution, KYC/KYB, and revocation if a grant has to be pulled.
• Publish awarded grants and grantee milestone reports.
• Track applications received, awards made, milestone completion, time-to-decision, and a short impact note tied to something on the live network.

Qualifications

• Managed a grants or nonprofit program, preferably at a technology nonprofit, a blockchain foundation, or an open-source organization.
• Project management experience that can hold 15–40 grants at different stages.
• Working knowledge of 501(c)(3) grant practice: written agreements, milestone files, and disclosure requirements.
• Technical fluency to read a blockchain proposal and engage with the protocol lead during review.
• Clear writing skills for grant feedback and public program notes.
• KYC/KYB experience and comfort with international grantees.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Web3 or crypto grant program experience, including how a grant was closed or pulled.
• Smart-contract or protocol review experience.
• A program you established, not just inherited.
• A habit of publishing grant lists.

First 90 Days

• A written program: RFP priorities against what is live, eligibility rules, review path, and the Grant Committee calendar.
• An agreement and milestone template for legal approval, plus the KYC/KYB checklist.
• The system of record in use, even if the first cohort is small.
• One public page of awarded grants, or a dated note that none have been awarded yet.
• A quarterly transparency outline for publication.
