[Hiring] Senior JDE Distribution Consultant @ERP Suites

Role Description

ERP Suites is looking for a Senior JDE Distribution Consultant with a blend of industry experience and JDE expertise, particularly in consulting as a senior functional consultant. We need someone with solid consulting acumen and strong analytical skills to:

• Gather business requirements
• Lead client workshops
• Manage client expectations
• Lead troubleshooting efforts
• Handle functional configurations
• Support JD Edwards projects and clients

Location: Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location. Although the position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel required based on job needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Consulting and Advisory

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the distribution modules from plan, design, build, test, deploy, and support of JD Edwards distribution modules like Sales & Distribution, Inventory, Advance Pricing, Transportation, Warehouse, and Procurement.
• Facilitate and orchestrate client business requirements, design, business process design workshops, and functionality demos during upfront client engagement of plan and design phases.
• Work closely with both client and internal project teams during data conversion, configuration design, and testing during the build, test, and deploy phases.
• Have 3-5 end-to-end implementation engagements experience during tenure.
• Provide consulting and advisory to clients in relation to business operations, business transformation, and solving business problems as it relates to the JDE ERP.

Application Managed Services and Support

• Guide and assist clients through day-to-day system support of all JD Edwards Distribution modules.
• Work with the client team to resolve issues, troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and continue system enhancement to optimize business operations.
• Have extensive knowledge and experience with JD Edwards Distribution business processes.
• Consult with clients to provide cost-effective solutions to solve business issues.
• Provide high-quality customer support by gathering information to solve day-to-day system issues.
• Troubleshoot client issues by performing various activities such as research, open SRs, system testing, and system configuration.
• Collaborate with client team in performing upgrade activities such as system configuration, testing, and end-user training.
• Proactively contribute to the overall support process by suggesting & executing new process efficiencies, documenting common support issues and workarounds.
• Refine customer requirements in detail, document, and present to the client for approval.
• Identify and apply creative and innovative approaches to resolving system issues.
• Work with Oracle to resolve service requests.
• Participate in team training activities to keep current with JD Edwards’ functionality.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 7 to 15 years of related work experience in JD Edwards in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Enterprise Application Integration.
• Strong leadership skills: able to conduct meetings and write functional specifications for development team.
• Able to work with clients to understand current state processes and define future state processes based on business objectives.
• Preferred experience with program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
• Mentor junior team members.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to areas like EDI.
• Familiarity with BI Publisher and other third-party software.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Familiarity with reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Orchestrator and new technologies.
• Familiarity with consulting and advisory for JDE Distribution cross-industry.
• Working independently providing JDE Distribution business advisory.
