Role Description

In collaboration with the CIO, the Mountain Pacific Cyber Security Analyst II maintains a high level of integrity and is responsible for protecting the organization’s IT infrastructure by:

Monitoring and responding to security threats
Performing root cause analysis
Implementing remediation strategies
Managing cybersecurity tools
Conducting risk assessments
Maintaining compliance with standards like NIST, FIPS, and PCI-DSS
Ensuring systems are up-to-date with patches
Educating employees on cybersecurity best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or similar scope of study with an emphasis in information security, network security, cybersecurity principles
Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements

Full-time remote position with a preference in location of Montana or surrounding states
