Role Description

We are looking for a Peer Reviewer - Nephrologist (Contract Remote).

Perform primarily medical necessity, standard of care, and quality of care reviews
Available to start onboarding and performing reviews immediately

Qualifications

Actively practicing, at least 20 hours a week on average
Board certified in your specialty
Willing to do federal Department of Defense work
Veteran status is appreciated

Requirements

Payment per review is dependent on review type: $125 - $600
Type of Review and Estimated Avg Time per Review:

Medical Necessity: 45 min
Appeals/Hearing support: 1 hr
Standard of Care: 2 hr
Quality of Care: 2 hr

Volume of cases varies widely and is dependent on specialty
You can turn down a review due to lack of capacity/time if needed
