Role Description

We are looking for a Peer Reviewer - Cardiology (Contract Remote).

To be eligible to perform reviews, you need to meet the following criteria:

Actively practicing, at least 20 hours a week on average
Board certified in your specialty
Willing to do federal Department of Defense work
Available to start onboarding and performing reviews immediately

You will be performing primarily medical necessity, standard of care and quality of care reviews.
Payment per review is dependent on review type: $125 - $600
Type of Review and Estimated Avg Time per Review:

Medical Necessity - 45 min
Appeals/Hearing support - 1 hr
Standard of Care - 2 hr
Quality of Care - 2 hr

Volume of cases varies widely and is dependent on specialty. You can turn down a review due to lack of capacity/time if needed.

Qualifications
