Role Description
We are looking for a Peer Reviewer - Surgeon (Contract Remote).
- Perform primarily medical necessity, standard of care, and quality of care reviews
- Available to start onboarding and performing reviews immediately
Qualifications
- Actively practicing, at least 20 hours a week on average
- Board certified in your specialty
- Willing to do federal Department of Defense work
- Veteran status is appreciated
Requirements
- Payment per review is dependent on review type: $125 - $600
- Type of Review and Estimated Avg Time per Review:
- Medical Necessity - 45 min
- Appeals/Hearing support - 1 hr
- Standard of Care - 2 hr
- Quality of Care - 2 hr
- Volume of cases varies widely and is dependent on specialty
- You can turn down a review due to lack of capacity/time if needed
