[Hiring] Executive Partner @Gartner

Role Description

You will manage a portfolio of 25 - 30+ clients, typically CISOs and Leaders of Cybersecurity, from global Fortune 1000 BFSI (Banking Financial Services, Insurance) organizations and large high-tech industries.

As their Executive Partner, you will be delivering value through:

• Regular briefings
• A mix of on-site and virtual workshops
• Roundtables and webinars
• Attending relevant Gartner events

As someone who has previously been in their shoes (or has equivalent experience), you will use your knowledge and expertise, along with additional Gartner resources and research, to:

• Coach and mentor your clients on critical initiatives and obstacles within the Security Risk Management space

Collaboration is key. You will work closely with several internal Gartner teams to ensure value is delivered, including:

• Sales teams
• Analysts
• Client Managers
• Your peers across other domains

This role is client-facing and requires:

• A high level of Executive presence
• Adaptability and ability to build trust
• Communication, diplomacy, coaching, and presentation skills

You will be responsible for:

• Member retention
• Contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in:
• Prospect cultivation
• Account plan development
• Value demonstration activities

This is predominantly a home-based role, where you will operate as an individual contributor managing your own calendar and other administrative tasks, delivering value to your client portfolio virtually with approximately 25% onsite support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 15+ years of experience in executive security leadership roles, including CISO, Security Practice Leader, or equivalent, preferably within BFSI organizations
• Proven experience leading and scaling enterprise security programs, operations, teams, and capabilities
• Experience in executive-level consulting, sales, or client-facing leadership roles
• Strong expertise in security strategy, risk management, and aligning cybersecurity initiatives to business objectives
• Hands-on experience with modern security technologies and practices, including:
• SIEM
• IAM
• Threat and vulnerability management
• Endpoint, network and cloud security
• Application/product security
• AI security
• Demonstrated success establishing security governance, metrics, board-level reporting, and vendor management programs
• Ability to articulate and demonstrate the business value of cybersecurity to executive and board audiences
• Prior consulting experience with a large consulting firm preferred but not required
