Role Description

A help page is only useful if its instructions match the current process. The Knowledge Page Revision Assistant helps an online support team apply approved corrections, check the published result, and keep the change history understandable. This is a remote content administration job with a customer service purpose. You are not responsible for creating policy or deciding how a complex support issue should be resolved.

• Follow the source, then check the page.
• The assigned request may include:
  • Replacement wording
  • A new screenshot
  • A link to a current form
• Read the approval and identify the exact page and section.
• If the request is unclear, ask the document owner before editing.
• After entering a permitted change, view the page as a reader would:
  • Is the heading still correct?
  • Does the link lead to the intended destination?
  • Did a list or image break?
• A change saved inside an editor is not complete until the visible online page has been checked.
• If a new instruction contradicts another help article, flag that relationship.
• Do not silently revise the second article without authorization.
• When a page is intended for internal use only, verify its audience setting within your assigned process.
• Good office administration means the tracker records:
