Role Description

The Christian Post is seeking a Freelance Branded Content Writer to craft compelling, sponsor-driven articles from a biblical, Christian worldview. The ideal candidate is a skilled and versatile writer with strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for creating content that serves both our readers and our partners.

As we grow our branded content practice, you'll collaborate with our sales & marketing team to produce native articles, newsletters, and features that appear on ChristianPost.com, connecting readers with mission-aligned organizations across ministry, education, healthcare, and more. Your work won't just fill ad space; it will reach an engaged audience of believers with content that can genuinely make a difference.

We're looking for someone fast, thorough, and comfortable handling a range of topics from church ministry and higher education to mental health and family, with nuance and grace. Experience in branded, editorial, or agency writing is essential. Familiarity with faith-based topics is required.

Qualifications

• Professional writing experience in branded content, editorial, advertising, marketing, agency, or a related field
• Exceptional writing, editing, research, and proofreading skills
• Experience translating campaign objectives into compelling reader-focused content
• Strong understanding of Christian audiences, faith-based organizations, and topics relevant to the Church
• Ability to adapt voice, tone, and approach across a wide range of organizations and subject areas
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadline
• A collaborative, responsive, and professional approach to feedback
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments from brief through final draft
• Familiarity with SEO and digital publishing best practices is a plus
• Previous experience writing branded or sponsored content for faith-based audiences is a plus
