Role Description

Manager (Applications Consultant) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to design, develop, enhance, customize, and integrate software applications under the supervision of a Sr. Manager. Responsible for:

• Software design and realization
• Testing, deployment, release management, and technical/functional application management of client-specific solutions
• Defining system strategy and requirements
• Analyzing existing applications for performance improvements
• Designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing business solutions under multiple deadlines
• Evaluating feasibility within time and cost constraints
• Translating business cases into technical designs and specifications
• Identifying and managing operational/technical issues and key scope activities
• Engaging with customers to resolve escalations
• Forecasting work and planning team support
• Reviewing team deliverables to improve quality and productivity
• Modifying designs to maintain performance
• Coordinating with support teams to reduce incidents
• Monitoring performance and assessing impacts of design changes
• Creating data models, workflows, integration approaches, and tracking application specifications
• Preparing monthly reports for clients and stakeholders and resolving issues to ensure project delivery

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, Information Technology, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience
• In the alternative, a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, Information Technology, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience
• Must have one (1) year of IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets:
  • SAP LTMC, SAP Datasphere, and SAP BODS
  • SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP Fiori
  • SAP S/4 HANA, Redhat Linux, and SAP BW
  • SAP SD, SAP ECC, and IKON

Requirements

• All experience may be acquired concurrently
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs
• International travel not required
• Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths
• Telecommuting may be permitted as needed
