Role Description
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that streamline workflows, improve data management, and enhance patient engagement.
- Develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications to support business and patient needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Optimize existing systems for efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Integrate third-party APIs and healthcare-related software tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support for internal systems.
- Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare industry regulations.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or Java.
- Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, .NET, or Django.
- Database expertise, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA compliance is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
