Role Description
The Remote Customer Support Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, assisting with appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, and general support needs. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first mindset to provide an outstanding experience for every patient.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while coordinating with therapists and staff.
- Assist patients with billing questions, insurance verification, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data security in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Address concerns, troubleshoot issues, and escalate cases when necessary.
- Provide guidance on therapy services, policies, and procedures.
- Support administrative tasks to improve patient engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer support, healthcare administration, or a related role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathize and problem-solve effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced remote environment.
