Role Description

We are excited to bring on a Strategic Sales Executive to join our Group Protection Distribution Team supporting Workplace Solutions in St. Louis, MO.

The Group Protection Distribution Team is looking for an experienced Strategic Sales Executive to join Group Benefits Sales team. As a Strategic Sales Executive for Group Benefits Sales, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas or objectives by working directly with groups in the assigned territory.

• Work with Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers, Plan Sponsors and Participants to increase sales revenue and market share in offering our ancillary products.
• Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned territory and products.
• Provide education, information, training & advice on Lincoln’s products & services to assigned Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers and/or Plan Sponsor/Participants.
• Build and maintain business relationships through effective communication via email, phone and in person.
• Develop and execute basic plans to increase/gain opportunities to introduce Lincoln’s products/services.
• Identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 5 - 7+ Years of experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Licenses required upon hire

• The pay range for this position is $215,000 - $480,000 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range
