[Hiring] Senior Presales Consultant @ParallelDots

Role Description

Own the technical win in enterprise sales cycles. Lead discovery and tailored ShelfWatch demonstrations for CPG prospects, shape proofs of concept (POCs), and ensure prospects see the most current capabilities of ParallelDots. Build the pre-sales playbook and mentor the Pre-Sales Associate.

What you will do

• Run tailored, outcome-led demos of ShelfWatch and other ParallelDots products for buyers ranging from field teams to senior executives.
• Lead discovery with sales: understand retail execution processes, KPIs, store universe, image capture methods and existing tools.
• Design and scope POCs and pilots, including success criteria, data requirements, timelines and delivery handover.
• Answer technical and commercial questions about accuracy, SKU onboarding, integrations, data security and deployment.
• Own and maintain up-to-date demo environments in partnership with product teams.
• Share structured market feedback on feature gaps, competitor claims and recurring customer objections.
• Create and maintain pitch decks, demo scripts, one-pagers, ROI calculators, solution briefs and battle cards.
• Turn major customer projects into compelling case studies with customer success and marketing.
• Respond accurately to RFPs, RFIs and security questionnaires.
• Train sales hires and partners on product positioning and demo delivery.
• Partner with product, customer success, data science, sales and marketing to develop winning solutions and collateral.
• Ensure clean handover from pre-sales to implementation so customer expectations match delivery.
• Mentor the Pre-Sales Associate and set demo quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in pre-sales or solutions consulting for B2B SaaS, including direct ownership of enterprise demos.
• Ability to understand customer use cases and tailor demonstrations accordingly.
• Excellent spoken and written English; confidence with senior global stakeholders.
• Knowledge of structured discovery, value-based demos, POC management and mutual action plans.
• Proactive communication with sales, product and customers.
• Working understanding of AI and computer vision (image recognition, model accuracy, training data), explained in simple terms.
• Comfort with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and presentation tools.

Nice to have

• CPG, FMCG, retail or retail execution experience.
• Exposure to retail image recognition competitors or adjacent products.
• Experience supporting channel partners or resellers.
• Knowledge of APIs, data integrations and BI tools.
• Additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Bahasa or French.
