Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Director to win new business throughout North and Central America. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for developing and executing your own sales plan, identifying and closing opportunities, and driving profitable growth throughout the Fracht network. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of international logistics, established client relationships in the territory, and a proven personal track record of winning freight in a similar role. The position is remote: you may be based anywhere in the Americas between Canada and Panama, employed through the Fracht entity in your country of residence and subject to local work authorization.
Our services span international air and ocean freight, contract logistics, customs brokerage, project cargo, and heavy lift; your experience should sit in one or more of these.
Duties and Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle for your portfolio: prospecting, qualification, solution design with operations and pricing, proposal, close, and onboarding.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.

Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales initiatives with market demands.

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and generate new business leads.

Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance and inform decision-making.

Develop and maintain a strong professional network within the logistics and supply chain industry.

Work with procurement and operations to ensure proposals are competitive and profitable.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.

Communicate sales goals, strategies, and performance updates to senior management.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

10 or more years of sales experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

Established relationships with decision-makers awarding freight across North and Central America.

Documented gross profit generated personally as an individual contributor.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of global logistics and supply chain management.

Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
