Role Description
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for all sales activities in assigned territory to support, develop and drive top line sales growth. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must live in the state of Washington to be considered.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Represent JELD-WEN Inc. in a professional manner by presenting and selling company products and sales programs.

Build and maintain a network of customer contacts within assigned territory to drive top-line growth both in store via the millwork and pro sales desks and outside of the store through the pro outside sales organizations.

Develop, track and regularly maintain an open opportunity pipeline with regular report outs of status and actions to close.

Prepare sales plans and call schedules based on analysis of provided data and market opportunities.

Be the market expert; understand the competitive landscape in your assigned territory and craft strategies and plans that position JELD-WEN to overcome.

Be the product expert; train and support customer sales associates in how to sell JELD-WEN products and services.

Regularly visit stores in assigned territory to support store associate and management concerns, training activities, and maintaining/identifying issues with in-store displays, fixturing, etc.

Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

Ability to read blueprints and knowledge to perform window and door take-offs required.

A detailed understanding of the Loweβs and Home Depot inside and outside sales organizations.

Window / Door knowledge huge plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Customer Relationship Management Software, Electronic Pricing Catalog, Other Electronic pricing methods (Paradigm, etc.), Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Comfortable working with hand tools to maintain in-store displays and POP.

The employee may be required to travel in support of sales, training, and service management. 50%+
Requirements

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of five years related sales experience and/or training, preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expected pay for this role is between $63,600.00 to $106,000.00 per year based on experience and qualifications.
