Role Description

Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system. We partner with employers to redesign how healthcare works, applying 550+ proprietary clinical metrics across 80+ specialties to a dataset of 320M+ patients to identify the best-performing doctors.

This is a role for someone who wants to work on a hard problem, deliver real impact, and be pushed to be the best version of themselves. As a Regional Sales Director in the West Region, you’ll report directly to the VP, Employer Sales- West.

The Regional Sales Director will:

• Deliver strong sales results within the West market in the 1,000-9,999 life segment.
• Focus on relationship management within our partnership ecosystem of benefits brokers, consultants, general agents, and employers.
• Run your own book, take on the hardest deals, and shape how your region wins.

What you will do

• Own revenue responsibilities for your specific territory in the West market, which includes: OR, ID, MT, HI.
• Own a quarterly quota, delivering on it independently and taking on the most complex and cross-functional deals with minimal support.
• Build and grow the region's base of brokers and advisors, activating new partners and deepening the highest-producing ones.
• Personally develop and win the region's most strategic Gold Advisor relationships.
• Shape territory strategy alongside your partner roles (Enterprise, AE, CR, and peer RDs), sharing what is working across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quota-carrying sales or sales support role.
• Experience working with benefits brokers and consultants.
• Experience in health insurance strongly preferred.
• A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment with notable upside.

• Strong ability to present and communicate a value proposition to external stakeholders.
• A desire to do work that matters and to be held to a high standard while doing it.

Benefits

• Target total compensation (inclusive of base + commission) range for this role is $275,000 – $300,000.
• Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
