Role Description

As an insurance broker, we work with a selected panel of insurers, making comparing multiple policies simple and easy. We provide a personalised service, focused on getting to know exactly what you want from your insurance cover. Our continued growth has created several opportunities available across our vibrant Protection Insurance sales teams, and we are looking for a Sales Leader to join the team, working with warm Protection Review leads from existing customers.

• Motivate and lead a sales team to deliver against sales expectations compliantly and with excellent customer satisfaction.
• Deliver against own personal sales targets.

Qualifications

• First class communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant protection insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducting impactful sales coaching with team members to maximize their potential.
• Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and sales skills.
• Conducting monthly touch base catch-ups and daily buzz sessions to engage the team and communicate expectations.
• Deliver training and support the sign-off on competence of new starters.
• Working with other teams on initiatives and relationships to benefit both the Department and Howden Health and Life.
• Take responsibility for own personal development in terms of understanding the business, regulation, and the insurance industry.
• Leading by example, when required, to achieve own personal sales target.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks required by the business.
