[Hiring] Founding Sales Engineer @Statisfy

Role Description

We are hiring our first Sales Engineer to win enterprise customers for Statisfy’s AI-powered customer intelligence platform. You’ll be the technical voice in every deal:

• Running tailored product demos
• Owning pilots from scoping to a signed contract
• Earning the trust of technical stakeholders on the buyer side

Our buyers are VPs of Customer Success and CCOs, and their RevOps, IT, data and security teams. You’ll turn their requirements into a scoped, proven solution and hand it off cleanly to onboarding.

As a founding member of the go-to-market team, you’ll work hand in hand with Sales, Product and Customer Success. You won’t just run the playbook; you’ll write it, from the demo environment to the pilot framework to the handoff into onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical pre-sales role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant or similar), ideally selling B2B SaaS to US enterprise or mid-market buyers.
• A track record of building and delivering product demos and pilots that converted into closed revenue.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS systems and integrations: CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), support platforms (Zendesk, Intercom), product analytics, BI tools and data pipelines.
• Hands-on comfort with APIs, scripting, SQL and workflow automation or low-code platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• A founder mindset: self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to build a process from scratch at an early-stage startup.

Requirements

• Lead technical discovery to understand each prospect’s requirements, data sources, systems and success criteria.
• Build and run demos from those requirements, using the customer’s own use cases and data.
• Scope pilots with clear success criteria and connect prospect data.
• Become the trusted advisor to RevOps, IT, data and security teams.
• Co-own deal strategy with Account Executives.
• Bring back field insights, competitive intel and feature requests from prospects.
• Hand off won pilots cleanly with documented requirements, configurations and success metrics.
• Create the demo environment, reusable demo agents and datasets, pilot playbooks, ROI and value-case templates.
