Role Description
In partnership with the local Investment Solutions Consultant (ISC), the Senior Investment Solutions Consultant (SISC) is responsible for achieving and exceeding the assigned territory and individual General Office’s investment sales objectives, delivering sales concepts, product information, and providing technical guidance to New York Life agents in an effort to drive investment sales.

Work closely with agents who are part of a captive agency sales force to develop and maintain strong business relationships.

Deliver a strong command of New York Life’s life investment products and sales processes.

Provide case development and design support.

Introduce new product enhancements to field management and agents with particular emphasis on individual and business needs, markets, and tax issues of investment products.

Deliver sales presentations to both agents and clients.

Provide sales support and product information through individual face-to-face meetings as well as large group sessions.

Proactively work with management.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.

Motivated and energetic individual with the ability to drive objectives relatively autonomously.

Minimum 5 years of wholesaling experience in Investment products.

A broad and comprehensive knowledge of the Investment business, an understanding of the sales process and the dynamics of selling investment products.

Industry recognized designations such as RICP, CFP, FSCP are highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills are essential.

Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.

Life license, Series 6 or Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 or 66 registrations.

Understanding of Advanced Markets, a plus.

Frequent travel is required, typically 50%; potentially up to 100% of the time.

Pay Transparency Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.

Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

This role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
