Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Remote Commercial Insurance Producer to join a growing Farmers Insurance agency. This is a full-time sales position focused on developing new commercial insurance business, building relationships with business owners, and growing a profitable book of commercial accounts.

The ideal candidate is a motivated insurance sales professional who is comfortable prospecting for new business, generating their own opportunities, following up consistently, and developing long-term client relationships. This position is 100% remote and offers strong earning potential for a producer who is driven to build and grow their commercial book of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial insurance business
• Make consistent outbound calls and prospecting outreach to business owners
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial prospects
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance solutions
• Quote, present, and close Commercial Lines insurance policies
• Conduct regular follow-up with prospects throughout the sales process
• Build long-term relationships with business owners and commercial clients
• Cross-sell additional insurance products when appropriate
• Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline information within the agency CRM
• Work toward established sales, production, and revenue goals
• Provide a professional client experience from initial contact through policy placement

Requirements

• Active California Property & Casualty License required
• Prior Commercial Lines insurance sales experience strongly preferred
• Farmers Insurance experience preferred, but not required
• Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close new business
• Comfortable with outbound calling and business development
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable using CRM, quoting, and insurance agency management systems
