Role Description

Houston is a big market. We need a natural closer. TheHomeMag has been America's #1 home improvement marketing platform for over 23 years — and Houston is one of the most exciting opportunities in our entire national network. Every month, we put our premium print, digital, and email advertising solutions in front of 200,000+ homeowners who are actively investing in their homes. Your job is to connect the best local contractors in the market to those homeowners — and build a book of recurring business that grows your income every single month.

This is not an entry-level role. This is a seat for a relationship-builder, a natural persuader, and someone who turns conversations into revenue.

What You'll Do

• Drive the Houston territory — prospecting, presenting, and closing advertising partnerships with local home improvement contractors.
• Understand their business, earn their trust, and show them how TheHomeMag can fill their pipeline with high-quality homeowner leads every month.
• The more value you create for your clients, the more your income grows.
• Your book of business compounds over time as clients renew because they see real results.

• You have 2–3 years of outside sales experience — media, advertising, B2B, home improvement, or any client-facing role where closing and relationship-building was your daily reality.

• 2–3 years of outside sales experience in relevant fields.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to close deals effectively.

• Base Salary: $48,000 – $55,000
• Uncapped Commission: Average annual earnings of $115K+ based on rep performance.
