Role Description
Elastic, the Search AI company, is looking for a Security Sales Executive to join our team, where you'll focus on connecting our security solutions with existing customers and products. In this overlay specialist role, you'll be part of a collaborative effort to enhance how security operations teams defend against threats and respond to incidents, leveraging the power of AI. What You Will Be Doing

Understand client needs to align security solutions effectively.

Facilitate regular check-ins and updates with key stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.

Identify and target potential clients within the cybersecurity sector.

Qualify leads through outreach and needs assessments to ensure a good fit.

Develop engaging presentations and demos that effectively showcase our security solutions.

Conduct regular training sessions to educate Account Executives on product features and benefits.

Support Account Executives in creating customized sales strategies tailored to client needs.

Share insights on industry trends and competitor activities to refine and enhance sales approaches.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to enhance the sales cycle for cyber opportunities.

Monitor and analyze sales performance data to pinpoint areas for improvement.

Manage proofs of concept to ensure successful outcomes and drive sales growth.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, cybersecurity, or a related field.

4+ years in sales within the cybersecurity industry.

5+ years with client relationship management.

Experience with AI integration in cybersecurity solutions.

Proficiency in cybersecurity sales tools and CRM software.

Ability to create and deliver engaging product presentations.

Able to perform needs assessments in a cybersecurity context.

Knowledge of security operations and incident response processes.

Knowledge of industry trends and competitor analysis in cybersecurity.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in cybersecurity.

Demonstrated success in developing long-term client relationships.

Compensation

The typical starting salary range for this role is: $135,900 β $215,100 USD.

The typical starting Target Variable range for this role is: $90,600 β $143,300 USD.

The typical starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is: $226,500 β $358,300 USD.
