[Hiring] Account Executive, Oncology @Trellis AI

Role Description

Trellis builds and deploys self-improving agents to get patients access to life-saving medicine. Our AI agents process billions of dollars worth of therapies annually with patients in all fifty states. We do this by automating document intake, prior authorizations, and appeals at scale to streamline operations and accelerate care.

You'll own new business with oncology providers, from independent community practices to multi-site oncology networks. Oncology teams manage some of the most expensive and time-sensitive therapies in medicine, and every delay in authorization or financial clearance delays treatment. Trellis automates that work so patients start care sooner and practices get paid.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years as a quota-carrying AE closing new business
• Direct experience selling to oncology practices or oncology networks, with relationships in the space
• A track record of hitting or beating quota on complex, multi-stakeholder deals
• Working knowledge of oncology revenue cycle: buy-and-bill, prior authorization, financial clearance, and patient assistance
• Experience self-sourcing pipeline, not just working inbound
• Experience selling technical, SaaS, or AI products is a plus

Requirements

• Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through discovery, pilot scoping, pricing, and close
• Build pipeline across community oncology practices and oncology networks
• Sell to practice administrators, revenue cycle and prior authorization leaders, financial counseling teams, and physician owners
• Build ROI cases around authorization turnaround, denials, write-offs, and staff capacity
• Navigate practice and network decision-making, including group purchasing and network-level approvals
• Partner with our deployment team so pilots convert to production and expand across sites
