Role Description
As a Territory Manager at Arc’teryx, you will lead the work to bring Arc’teryx to life in Specialty Retail in the US West, while supporting efforts to build our community in our Brand Stores and National Accounts. When successful, the Arc’teryx Guest will experience a seamless brand experience across your territory.
- Scout out and work with the best Outdoor, Climb, and Ski retailers in your territory
- Support specialty retail partners in California, Arizona, and Nevada
- Translate seasonal strategy to sell-in and marketing plans
- Secure pre-orders and commitments from specialty base
- Train retail staff on brand promise, seasonal vision, and product specifics
- Connect members of the Arc’teryx community through events and activations
- Manage orderbook for fulfillment and in-season sales opportunities
- Use experience and data to strengthen forecasts and product feedback
- Lead the US West region with an emphasis on strategic account management
- Travel within your territory (40% of your time)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
- 5+ years of sales experience in outdoor sales or related industry
- Strong ability to build relationships, sell, influence, and negotiate
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and analytical ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Proactive in identifying root causes and developing solutions
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Balance autonomy and collaboration effectively
- Passion for work and outdoor activities
