Role Description

As a Key Account Manager within OMDIA, you will be primarily responsible for bringing in net new business within an existing set of Key Accounts (10-25 accounts). You will work as part of an account team that’ll also include a Subscription Account Manager, a Customer Success representative, and an SDR.

  • Develop strategies, approaches, and plans for future growth and communicate those with passion and energy to clients
  • Meet achievable, weekly KPI’s to ensure a disciplined approach to pipeline growth and maintenance
  • Achieve monthly and annual new business sales targets
  • Identify and engage with new and existing prospects to understand their specific challenges
  • Proactively respond to inbound inquiries and self-generated leads based on market and product understanding
  • Report accurate forecasting and performance metrics to key stakeholders, highlighting revenue risks and opportunities
  • Work with the wider Omdia analyst and consulting teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other Informa TechTarget sales teams to position larger, unified solutions
  • Travel as needed to meet face to face with customers and prospects

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in new business development, identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Demonstrable experience as a top-performing individual contributor in a solutions-based B2B environment
  • Strong team player mentality, able to collaborate effectively within a sales team
  • Working knowledge of the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) marketplace

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience selling technology market intelligence or consulting services
  • Experience selling into industries such as:
    • Electronics
    • Semiconductors
    • Telco Vendors
    • Physical Security
    • IoT
    • Manufacturing Technology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and client needs
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing technology landscapes and market conditions
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals
