Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our fast-growing Corporate Partnerships team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in fueling InStride’s mission to bring life-changing education to the workforce.
- Be the first point of contact for potential corporate partners
- Identify high-value prospects and generate interest in InStride’s innovative education solutions
- Conduct targeted outreach and engage in meaningful conversations
- Set the foundation for long-term partnerships
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or customer success, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Passion and strong curiosity to understand “how things work” while developing an eye for business
- Demonstrated creativity in connecting company solutions to the unique needs and aspirations of potential clients
- Tenacious and resilient in creating initial relationships with new prospective clients
- Demonstrated ability to perform effective discovery conversations with complex enterprise clients
- Self-motivated, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to think strategically with strong business acumen
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align with compelling prospect needs
- High EQ, comfortable with ambiguity and has a “no job too small” startup mentality
Requirements
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify leads through research, outreach, and networking
- Tenacity and Resilience: Focus on cultivating relationships and persevering through challenges
- Entrepreneurship & Strategic Thinking: Take a creative approach to problem-solving
- Communication: Capable of communicating a clear and persuasive message
- Relationship Building & Emotional Intelligence: Listen actively and understand the pain points of potential clients
