Role Description

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at TestGorilla, you will directly and personally lead the initial outreach and leverage creative marketing and sales outbound tactics to prospect and engage with potential customers.

  • Inspire prospects about the value of pre-screening tests and skills-based hiring instead of outdated CV screening.
  • Grow the opportunity pipeline by generating qualified leads and identifying high-potential customers.
  • Prepare a detailed handover to the Product Advisor and Account Executive teams.
  • Execute outbound prospective initiatives to generate interest in our services or skills-based hiring.
  • Reach out to high potential target accounts with a multi-channel approach (email, social, call, etc.).
  • Contact and inspire prospects on the benefits and value of pre-hiring tests and the unique characteristics of TestGorilla.
  • Qualify the needs of prospects using BANT.
  • Iterate and improve our data-driven and scalable campaigns.
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results.
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop targeted lists and messaging strategies to drive opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Track record of overachieving (commercial) targets.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Results-driven with a mindset to beat targets.
  • Agent of change who enjoys new challenges.
  • Naturally curious and eager to learn in a high-growth environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers through active listening and energetic phone skills.
  • Previous knowledge of working with the US market.
  • Advanced English proficiency with a strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Critical thinker that can apply that skill on the spot in objection handling.
  • Good time management skills, including prioritizing and scheduling.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Located in the EST/PST time zone (or equivalent).

Requirements

  • Familiarity with U.S. culture and nuances is preferred.
  • Bonus points for experience in remote sales B2B.
