Role Description

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and script workflows and integrations on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Build, maintain, and execute automation test frameworks (ATF) and manual test cases for ServiceNow modules, upgrades, and integrations.
• Analyze business requirements and ServiceNow specs to design scalable test scenarios and strategies.
• Manage update sets, migration activities, and support CI/CD automation for reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, product owners, and global teams to ensure testability, alignment, and quality deliverables.
• Lead upgrade/patch test strategies, ensuring seamless platform enhancements and minimal disruption.
• Champion a quality-first mindset and actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development and quality assurance, including 6+ years hands-on ServiceNow experience.
• Expert-level ServiceNow development and scripting skills: JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and integration testing (REST, SOAP, Integration Hub).
• Experience with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, CSDM, Discovery, Event Management.
• Skilled in update set migration, ServiceNow development lifecycle, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation tools.
• Proficient in test management/defect tracking tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM, Discovery, Event Management).
• ITIL v3/v4 certification.
• Experience with Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI, Rest Assured for external automation.
• Experience in offshore-onshore delivery models and collaboration across time zones.
