[Hiring] Senior Product Manager @Givebutter

1mth ago - Givebutter is hiring a remote Senior Product Manager. 💸 Salary: usd 178,000 - 204,000 per year 📍Location: USA

Role Description

Givebutter is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own our CRM, Engage marketing, and Reporting tools under the banner of Givebutter Plus. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that leads a major strategic bet for the company and reports to our VP of Product & Growth.

You'll partner closely with Design and Engineering to ship tools that help the nonprofits we serve raise more, grow their donor base, and fulfill their mission more effectively. You’ll work in concert with our leadership team, go-to-market teams, and partner product teams to build Givebutter Plus into the category-defining donor management & marketing product in the nonprofit software space.

We want to hear from people who…

  • Have a passion for building elegant workflow software that makes busy salespeople and marketers more efficient and effective.
  • Intuitively grasp how to incorporate generative AI and machine learning into our products to make prospecting, donor outreach, and insight generation more effective for our nonprofit customers.
  • Are equally at home with hard quantitative analysis and softer qualitative research.
  • Understand SaaS unit economics and their drivers, such as CAC, CLTV, ACV, and Revenue Retention.
  • Value quality design and have a strong point of view about what makes for great software products.
  • Enjoy creating the context and conditions for talented designers and engineers to do the best work of their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Givebutter’s suite of donor management, marketing, and reporting tools.
  • Drive adoption, retention, and monetization of Givebutter Plus in partnership with our Growth and Revenue teams.
  • Lead discovery across your product area: run customer research, synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, and frame clear problems worth solving.
  • Define and communicate the "why" behind the work, connect product initiatives to company strategy, and ensure the team has clear success criteria.
  • Partner with Product Design and Engineering to build cohesive solutions; champion tasteful UX decisions.
  • Use data to guide decisions, navigate ambiguity with clear hypotheses, and build data-informed decision habits.
  • Align stakeholders across functions, manage tradeoffs, and keep multiple initiatives moving without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience working on high scale B2B SaaS or consumer software products; experience with marketing technology tools a huge plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a product area end-to-end: strategy definition, roadmap execution, and driving business & customer outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with SQL and product analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Hex).
  • Superb written and verbal communication; able to simplify the complex and articulate the "why" to ICs and executives alike.
  • Track record of building effective working relationships with Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Finance teams.
  • Skilled at incorporating AI tools like Claude into your workflow without sacrificing quality of outputs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build repeatable product discovery practices across a team or pod.
  • Experience running A/B tests and interpreting results to inform product decisions.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit technology or the broader social good sector a bonus.

Benefits

  • Remote Work: Work remotely from one of our 10 hubs (Austin, Denver, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Seattle, and Nashville).
  • Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance covered 100% for employees as well as HSA and FSA accounts.
  • Dependent Care Coverage: Coverage for dependents, with 50% of Medical, Dental, and Vision premiums covered for all eligible dependents.
  • Mental Health: Access to a TalkSpace membership.
  • 401k: A 3% 401k match for all eligible employees.
  • Vacation and Holidays: Flexible PTO policy with uncapped vacation days and company-recognized holidays.
  • Wellness Week: Givebutter closes for one week each summer to prioritize rest and recharge for the entire team.
  • Parental Leave: 12 weeks of paid leave for all parents and comprehensive leave planning management through Aidora.
  • Family Care Support: Company-paid UrbanSitter membership plus care credits for childcare, senior care, pet care, and household support.
  • Home Office Stipend: Company-sponsored expenses for high-quality laptops, monitors, and modern technology.
  • Coworking Stipend: Monthly stipend for coworking spaces or cafés.
  • Charitable Giving: Employees are encouraged to donate up to $50/month to any verified nonprofit.
  • Professional Development: Learning and development reimbursement opportunities.
  • Love What You Do: A mission-driven company serving the charitable sector.

Interview Process

  • Recruiter Screen: A 30-minute conversation to learn more about your background and ensure mutual alignment.
  • Hiring Manager Interview: A deeper dive into your relevant experience, skillset, and working style.
  • Assessment: This stage will vary based on the role and may involve a live coding session, case study, or take-home project.
  • Values Interview: A conversation focused on how you align with our core values and leadership principles.
  • References: We connect with a few folks you’ve worked closely with to get a better picture of your working style and impact.
  • Offer: If all goes well, we’ll move to the offer stage!
